VETO has secured the streaming rights to the SAFF Championship 2026, adding the regional football tournament to its live sports portfolio. Scheduled from November 5 to 17, the competition will feature six national teams, with India set to face Pakistan in its opening fixture on November 5 at 3 PM IST.

The participating teams have been divided into two groups. Group A comprises India, Pakistan and the Maldives, while Group B features Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The tournament final is scheduled for November 17.

The India-Pakistan fixture is expected to draw particular attention, with the rivalry adding to the tournament’s appeal among football audiences. VETO plans to make the competition available through a subscription-free viewing experience.

Ritu Dhawan, Managing Director, VETO, said: “Live sports have the ability to bring audiences together, and fixtures such as India vs Pakistan generate tremendous excitement among fans. With the SAFF Championship 2026 joining our sports portfolio, we aim to bring more international sporting action to Indian households through a subscription-free viewing experience.”

The acquisition expands VETO’s existing live sports offering, which includes cricket, football, weightlifting and tennis. According to the platform, its sports portfolio currently features more than 300 hours of live content.

By adding the SAFF Championship to its catalogue, VETO is expanding its football coverage while using major international fixtures to strengthen its subscription-free sports proposition. The tournament also gives the platform an opportunity to connect with audiences through one of the region’s most anticipated football rivalries.
