Street photography and photographic education will take centre stage in FUJIFILM India’s expanded association with photographers Vineet Vohra and Rohit Vohra, who have been appointed Global X-Ambassadors. The recognition builds on their existing relationship with the company as X-Photographers and acknowledges their contributions to the photography community.
The new roles will see the duo participate in workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions and photography-led initiatives aimed at helping emerging photographers develop their skills and individual creative styles. Their involvement will also extend to Fujifilm’s existing community programmes, including X Academy and its experiential photography spaces across India.
For the brand, the appointments offer another way to connect its imaging business with the people who use its products and contribute to the wider photography ecosystem. Vineet and Rohit have been associated with street photography, mentoring and photographic education, with both having worked to encourage creative exchange among aspiring photographers.
Koji Wada, managing director of FUJIFILM India, said, “Photography brings people together and inspires creativity, reflecting our Group purpose of ‘Giving our world more smiles’. We are pleased to welcome Vineet Vohra and Rohit Vohra as Global X-Ambassadors, recognising their contributions to street photography and nurturing emerging talent. We look forward to building on our longstanding association and inspiring more people to explore the possibilities of photography.”
Arun Babu, associate director, Imaging Solutions Division, FUJIFILM India Private Limited, highlighted the skills the photographers bring to the association. He said, “Street photography demands spontaneity, precision and a keen eye for detail, qualities that Vineet and Rohit bring to their work. As Global X-Ambassadors, they will help strengthen our engagement with the photography community and inspire more enthusiasts to explore the creative possibilities of the X Series.”
The photographers also outlined what they hope to bring to the role. Vineet Vohra said, “Photography is about seeing the world differently. I hope to encourage aspiring photographers to experiment and develop their own style.”
Rohit Vohra added, “Street photography reveals extraordinary stories in everyday moments. I look forward to inspiring more photographers to explore their creative vision through the X Series.”
The association also places the photographers within the wider ecosystem of FUJIFILM’s X Series mirrorless cameras. The range includes the X-M5, X100VI, X-T5, X-S20, X-E5, X-T30 III, X-T50, X-H2S and X-H2, alongside the X half. Its features include advanced imaging sensors, autofocus capabilities, high-speed image processing and Film Simulation modes, catering to different photography styles and shooting conditions.
By bringing the two photographers into its global ambassador network, FUJIFILM India is extending an existing relationship into a more active community-facing role, with an emphasis on photographic storytelling, creative learning and the development of emerging talent.
The appointment gives FUJIFILM an opportunity to build its relationship with photographers beyond product-led engagement. By placing experienced street photographers in roles that involve mentoring and knowledge-sharing, the brand is connecting its camera ecosystem with the creative community that brings it to life.
