Tarundeep Singh Rana has joined Alkem Laboratories as Head – Consumer Business, bringing over 25 years of experience across consumer healthcare, marketing, sales and business transformation.
Before joining Alkem, Rana served as Chief Marketing Officer at Zydus Healthcare Limited. He previously held leadership positions at Sun Pharma Consumer Healthcare.
Earlier in his career, Rana was associated with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he led the global over-the-counter (OTC) business. He also worked with Hamdard Laboratories, contributing to the growth of established brands and business development.
Across these roles, Rana has worked on brand building, commercial excellence, healthcare professional outreach, business transformation and P&L management.
At Alkem Laboratories, Rana will focus on the company’s consumer business, including the A to Z franchise. In his LinkedIn announcement, he highlighted the opportunity to grow the established franchise while building consumer brands backed by the credibility of the company’s existing portfolio.
