A wedding dance floor becomes the ultimate test of makeup performance in Swiss Beauty’s latest festive campaign, ‘We Got You’. Featuring actor Taapsee Pannu, the film uses the energy of an Indian celebration to make a familiar beauty concern its central idea: consumers should be able to enjoy the moment without worrying about their makeup.

Set to the ’90s hit ‘Saat Samundar Paar’, the film shows Pannu dancing freely, with the music and movement capturing the uninhibited spirit of festive gatherings. Instead of placing the products in a conventional beauty-advertising setting, Swiss Beauty uses a recognisable celebration to connect makeup performance with real-life experiences.

The campaign brings two brand messages together. ‘We Got You’ communicates the assurance of dependable makeup performance, while ‘Tested by India’ positions consumer trust as an important part of the brand’s promise. The idea is to shift attention from the process of getting ready to everything that happens once the celebrations begin.

Gresha, creative director at Swiss Beauty, said the wedding dance floor became the creative starting point because it represents a setting where people let go of their inhibitions. The intention, she explained, was to make product performance central to the film without turning it into a conventional product demonstration.

Shalini Kochar, AVP – brand marketing, said the campaign draws on the consumer insight that makeup should not become a concern when someone is enjoying themselves. She added that ‘We Got You’ is intended to develop into a broader brand platform connecting performance with self-expression.

For founder Mohit Goyal, the campaign reinforces Swiss Beauty’s belief that beauty should enable people to express themselves freely. He said the brand wants consumers to embrace every moment while relying on its products to take care of their makeup needs.

With Taapsee Pannu and a familiar Bollywood soundtrack at its centre, the campaign uses the cultural energy of festive celebrations to communicate a functional product promise through an emotional, relatable setting.

Swiss Beauty’s choice of a wedding dance floor gives its performance message a distinctly Indian context. By making the celebration itself the test, the campaign turns a product benefit into a relatable consumer experience rather than relying on a conventional beauty demonstration.
