enGen Global has appointed Piyush Gupta as Senior Vice President and Head of Technology and Innovation. He brings over 27 years of experience across engineering, research and development, architecture, and product development.
Before joining enGen Global, Gupta served as Senior Vice President and Head of Research and Innovation at ProHance. There, he established an AI Centre of Excellence and led the development of AI-powered product features.
Earlier, Gupta worked at Tata AIA Life Insurance, where he led engineering, architecture, data and innovation initiatives, including generative AI applications. He also spent nearly nine years at UnitedHealth Group, holding leadership roles in research and innovation focused on emerging technologies, cognitive automation and digital operations.
His earlier career includes architecture and engineering roles at Walmart Labs, Mindtree, International Decision Systems, GE Healthcare and STMicroelectronics. His experience spans technology development, enterprise architecture and the application of emerging technologies across business operations.
At enGen Global, Gupta will lead technology and innovation initiatives, with a focus on artificial intelligence, data and analytics, platform architecture and modernisation across healthcare operations. His role will involve aligning these priorities with the company’s broader business and healthcare objectives as it strengthens its capabilities across the payvider ecosystem.
