Anmol Biscuits has unveiled its Diwali campaign, ‘Rishton Ka Uphaar’, built around the emotional realities of families celebrating the festival while living apart. The film follows a son who cannot be with his parents on Diwali but finds a thoughtful way to make the occasion special for them through a gift from Anmol.
Conceptualised by Meraqi Digital, the narrative explores the everyday experiences of parents whose children have moved away. Despite dealing with moments of loneliness, the parents continue to reassure their children that everything is fine. Against this backdrop, the son’s gesture becomes the emotional centre of the story, with Anmol’s Uphaar Box serving as a way to express affection across the distance.
The campaign draws from Anmol Industries’ ‘Har Pal Anmol’ philosophy, which celebrates the value of small but meaningful moments in relationships.
Speaking about the campaign, Aman Choudhary, executive director, and Abhishek Kumar, marketing head, Anmol Industries, said: “At Anmol Industries, ‘Har Pal Anmol’ is about recognising the value of the little moments that make our relationships special.
With ‘Rishton Ka Uphaar’, we wanted to bring this philosophy alive through a simple yet meaningful expression of family love. Because a moment does not have to be grand to be precious. Sometimes, it is a thoughtful gesture that reminds us how truly Anmol our relationships are.”
Sharing the creative thinking behind the film, Ankit Saraf and Snehja Sanganeria, founders of Meraqi Digital, said: “Our vision for the Diwali campaign was to capture the emotions that come with celebrating the festival away from loved ones, especially how longing parents feel when their children cannot be home for Diwali. While distance may keep families apart, it only deepens the love and the desire to make each other feel special.
Through this film, we wanted to highlight how thoughtful gestures can bridge that distance and bring joy to those who miss their loved ones the most. With Anmol’s Uphaar Box, we hope to remind people that even when being together isn’t possible, there are always Anmol ways to make loved ones feel cherished.”
Aastha Jhunjhunwala, account director, and Sakshi Shaw, creative strategist at Meraqi Digital, added: “Our focus was to bring the emotions to life through a relatable Diwali narrative, with Anmol’s Uphaar Box becoming a natural expression of care and togetherness.”
From a marketing perspective, the campaign draws on a familiar festive insight: the emotional gap created when family members cannot celebrate together. Instead of relying on the usual visual language of Diwali festivities, Anmol places a thoughtful gift at the centre of its storytelling. This gives the Uphaar Box a role beyond the product, connecting it with the brand’s larger message that meaningful relationships are built through small gestures of care.
