Alkem Laboratories has appointed Sandip Darji as Vice President – Head of API Operations. Darji brings experience across the pharmaceutical industry, with a background spanning active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing, process engineering and operational management.
Throughout his career, Darji has been associated with pharmaceutical companies including Zydus, Ipca Laboratories, Sun Pharma, Cipla and GSK. His professional experience covers several areas of pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations.
Darji’s expertise includes API manufacturing, process engineering, technology transfer and automation. His experience also encompasses operational excellence, covering key aspects of pharmaceutical production and manufacturing processes.
His appointment adds to Alkem Laboratories’ leadership in API operations, with his background spanning manufacturing, engineering and technology-led operational processes across the pharmaceutical sector.
