Motorola is taking its AI ambitions beyond the smartphone itself and into the world of advertising.

The brand has released two 100% AI-created films for the motorola edge 70 max and moto g max, using artificial intelligence as a creative medium to bring two very different product stories to life.

For the motorola edge 70 max, the film is built around the thought “Max Every Move.” Sloths become a visual metaphor for everything that slows people down, while the protagonist moves through his day determined to make the most of every moment.

The narrative brings together the smartphone’s key propositions, including the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, a Quad HD+ display with up to 7000 nits brightness, a 7100mAh battery offering up to 58 hours of battery life and magnetic wireless charging. Motorola Qira and its ability to provide answers immediately also feature as part of the film.

The second film takes a completely different route.

Created for the moto g max, “Got It, Flaunt It.” leans into a more playful visual narrative centred on the smartphone’s design and camera capabilities. The film uses the Bollywood song “Baar Baar Dekho” to introduce a nostalgic element while connecting it with a contemporary Gen Z audience.

The moto g max film spotlights the device’s Luxury Satin-inspired Finish, Pantone curated colours and 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 600 Camera System, alongside its AI-powered photography capabilities.

With these two films, Motorola is exploring AI not just as a feature inside its smartphones, but as part of the creative process behind how those products are communicated. The initiative brings together storytelling, visual expression and AI-led production, with each film using a distinct creative format to present the products.

The result is two campaigns with very different personalities, but a common experiment at their core: using AI as the medium through which the ideas themselves are brought to life.
