Kanika Pal has joined DBS Bank as Senior Vice President & Head – CSR, effective September 2026.

Pal joins DBS Bank after an eight-year stint at Unilever, where she most recently served as Sustainability Director (Social) from April 2025 to August 2026. In the role, she worked across CSR livelihoods strategy, social sustainability, human rights, livelihoods and community engagement.

Before this, she was South Asia Sustainability Director at Unilever from November 2022 to March 2025, where she worked on sustainability strategy, governance, performance management, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Pal previously served as South Asia Head – Community Investments & Sustainability Programs at Unilever from April 2021 to December 2022. During this tenure, she created and led community programmes including Prabhat and SAFAL.

She joined Unilever in April 2018 as Lead – Sustainable Community Development (Prabhat), South Asia, where she worked on sustainable and inclusive community development, partnerships and CSR initiatives.

Alongside her professional roles, Pal has been associated with the World Economic Forum as a Policy Leadership Council Member – Social Economy since September 2024 and previously served as a WEF Working Group Member – Unlocking Social Economy. She is also a Member of the CII National Committee on CSR.
Pal now takes on the role of Senior Vice President & Head – CSR at DBS Bank.
