The three-way collaboration with designer Dhruv Kapoor debuted with three limited-edition jackets at his Spring/Summer 2027 show, ahead of a wider collection for the 2027 IPL season. PUMA and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are taking their partnership beyond cricket with a new fashion collaboration that made its first appearance at Milan Fashion Week. The sportswear brand and IPL franchise have teamed up with Indian designer Dhruv Kapoor for three statement jackets, unveiled as part of Kapoor’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Presence. The pieces offer an early look at a larger PUMA × RCB × Dhruv Kapoor collaboration planned for the 2027 IPL season.

Rather than introducing the partnership through a conventional sportswear campaign or merchandise launch, PUMA chose Kapoor’s Milan runway as its first stage. The three jackets were designed as limited-edition pieces, giving the collaboration an early presence within the global fashion calendar before the wider collection reaches consumers. Kapoor reworked existing PUMA pieces using his own design language, reconstructing performance fabrics and technical elements and combining them with handcrafted details. The result brings RCB’s visual identity into a fashion context while retaining elements of PUMA’s sportswear construction.

The move builds on the growing cultural footprint of the PUMA and RCB partnership, which has now been running for six years. Their work together has expanded beyond match-day merchandise through fan experiences, participation-led initiatives and #RCBEverywhere, encouraging supporters to take their RCB fandom into everyday life. The Milan debut extends that idea into fashion. Instead of positioning the RCB jersey simply as sports merchandise, the collaboration places elements of the franchise within a designer-led collection and a global fashion setting.

RCB’s commercial and digital reach gives the collaboration a sizeable fan base to work with. The franchise was valued at USD 269 million in 2025 and has more than 22 million Instagram followers, accounting for a 16.2% share of engagement, according to the figures shared for the partnership. PUMA’s RCB merchandise has also seen significant growth. The 2026 authentic RCB jersey recorded a 300% year-on-year increase in sales and became PUMA’s top-selling apparel globally during its first week of launch.

The Milan showcase is only the first stage of the collaboration. A wider PUMA × RCB × Dhruv Kapoor collection is scheduled to arrive during the 2027 IPL season, with each of the three jacket styles set to be produced as limited-edition pieces and sold through select PUMA and Dhruv Kapoor retail and online channels.
