Fintan Gillespie is set to join Pinterest as UK & Ireland Managing Director on September 18, 2026. Gillespie joins Pinterest after nearly a decade at Snap, where he most recently served as Global Director, Ad Partnerships Group from April 2024. In the role, he led Snap’s Ad Partnerships, Measurement Partnerships and Independent Agency Sales businesses, along with strategic partnerships with AdTech companies including Smartly, Shopify, AppsFlyer, Google, Fospha, Experian and Circana.

Before taking on the global role, Gillespie was Director, UK Large Customer Sales at Snap from March 2022 to April 2024. He led a 40-person sales organisation focused on Snap’s largest UK advertising customers and also served as a public spokesperson for the company at industry events, customer forums and media engagements. He previously served as Head of EMEA Gaming & Mid-Market Business Solutions at Snap from June 2020 to March 2022, where he built Snap’s first dedicated EMEA Gaming business. Earlier, he was Senior Manager, UK Enterprise Business Solutions from November 2016 to June 2020.

Prior to Snap, Gillespie spent nearly eight years at Google across roles including Industry Head and Industry Manager, UK Agency Team. He began his career at Google as Cross Channel Agency Lead for Google South Africa. Gillespie also co-founded Surf Summit at Ci, where he served from November 2014 to November 2015, and earlier worked as a Travel Journalist at The Irish Times. He will take on the role of UK & Ireland Managing Director at Pinterest from September 18, 2026.
