Macis Media India Pvt. Ltd., part of the Macis Group of Companies, has appointed S Diivaakar as Chief Executive Officer.
Diivaakar takes on the role in August 2026, bringing over three decades of experience across television, digital and regional media. Based in Bengaluru, he will lead the company’s pan-India business with end-to-end P&L responsibility across corporate and retail advertising, marketing and business development.
In his new role, Diivaakar will focus on business strategy, growth and profitability, strengthening commercial operations, expanding strategic relationships and identifying new avenues for sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Macis Media, Diivaakar served as National Business Head – Prajaa TV Kannada News Channel at Samparka Info Media, where he managed channel operations and revenue strategy. He also held the position of National Sales Head – ETV News Kannada 24×7 at Network 18: Panorama Television.
His earlier leadership roles include Business Head – Janasri 24×7 Kannada News Channel at Yash Broadcasting Industries and VP – TV9 Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Maharashtra at Associated Broadcasting Co Pvt Ltd (TV9 Network).
Announcing his appointment on LinkedIn, Diivaakar described the move as an exciting new chapter in his media career. He said Macis Media is entering an ambitious phase of growth, with an expanding presence across India as well as international markets including the UAE and Singapore.
