Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Accenture to launch an AI-powered hotel discovery app on ChatGPT, enabling travelers to search, compare and explore hotel options through natural conversations before completing bookings on the Radisson Hotels website.
Available as @RadissonHotels on ChatGPT, the app has enabled travelers to discover more than 1,000 Radisson Hotels properties across over 100 countries. Users have been able to search using conversational prompts, receive live room rates, availability, hotel amenities, location details and interactive map-based results before being redirected to the brand’s website to complete reservations.
The launch has come as AI continues to influence travel planning. According to Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research, 87% of travelers have been open to using an AI-powered travel agent to find suitable travel options, while 71% have said at least half of their spending on hotels or airlines will be influenced by AI over the next 12 months.
The app has formed part of Radisson Hotel Group’s strategy to expand direct booking channels through AI-powered travel discovery. The company has said changing traveler behaviour has shifted discovery from traditional web traffic towards conversational AI platforms.
Accenture has supported the project by using its AI Merchant Center to structure and optimise Radisson Hotel Group’s hotel content, inventory, pricing and booking information for AI-based discovery. The app has connected directly with the group’s existing systems to provide real-time hotel information.
The companies have said future updates are expected to include deeper personalisation, loyalty programme recognition, in-chat booking, reservation management, trip modifications and AI concierge capabilities.
The initiative has also extended Radisson Hotel Group’s broader digital transformation programme. Accenture has supported the hotel chain in modernising its digital and data infrastructure and consolidating its brands onto a single global platform serving more than 1,000 hotels.
Gianni Di Fede, Chief Commercial Officer, Radisson Hotel Group, said, “AI is radically transforming how people search for and book hotel stays, and we are committed to being at the forefront of this shift. With Accenture, we are reimagining hotel discovery for the next generation of travelers, meeting guests in the planning moment with a branded experience that makes it easier to find, compare, and book Radisson Hotels properties.”
Ndidi Oteh, CEO, Accenture Song, said, “Agentic commerce is fundamentally changing how people discover and choose brands. As journeys become more conversational and intent-driven, companies have to rethink how they show up, not just to be found, but to be chosen, and to deliver value in that moment. Radisson Hotel Group is taking a step in that direction, creating a more direct and meaningful way to connect with travelers when decisions are being made.”
Emily Weiss, Senior Managing Director and Global Travel Lead, Accenture, said, “With travel, planning is becoming easier for consumers, but more competitive for brands. Travelers want to compare options quickly, narrow down choices and book with confidence, often in a single journey. That puts pressure on brands to show up with accurate, up-to-date, and easy-to-navigate information at every step. With Radisson Hotel Group, the focus was on making hotel content more accessible, so travelers can find what they need, explore options, and move to booking more seamlessly.”
